The Bellagio is a world class hotel, with its dazzling choreographed water ballet
extra-vaganza, art museum, conservatory of fresh flowers, and fine dining.
As I entered the lobby, the lavishly decorated Petrossian Bar was jut to the right. The
hostess told me that the afternoon tea was fully-booked. However, I caught sight of my
name on the top of the reservation list and pointed out that I had already made prior
arrangements. She then ushered us to our table when it was ready. The table was set in a
very pleasant European atmosphere. The setting was quiet elegant with crisp linen and the
heavy silver tea set. The tea sandwiches, scones and the exquisite pastries served in
limoges china were so delightful. I expected afternoon tea to be very expensive, but I was
later surprised.
Afternoon Tea Service from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
After the afternoon tea, you can either shop along Via Bellagio or walk to the conservatory,
where living trees and fresh flowers are arranged according to the season. However, before
leaving the vicinity, do not forget to view the choreographed ballet of water, light and music.
This site takes place every thirty minutes.
